Hair care appointments depend on the method of attachment you choose. Our recommendation is:

How do I take care of my wig?
Your technician will send you home with a wig care kit and a list of instructions to maintain your new hair. Use the proper hair products for the hair: human hair has a cuticle and synthetic hair has a smooth surface.

Caring for your synthetic wig

  • Gently remove tangles by combing or brushing your wig.
  • In a sink or basin, mix a capful of synthetic shampoo with lukewarm water and immerse your wig. Swirl gently and soak for approximately 5 minutes.
  • To remove shampoo, rinse your wig in a sink or basin of cold water.
  • Wrap your wig in a towel and blot dry.
  • Spray wig with conditioning mist.
  • Place wig on wig stand and air dry. Leave it overnight. Drying time depends on the length and thickness of your wig.
  • Once dry, shake it out and proceed to brush it.
  • Put it on, touch it up and go.

Caring for your human hair wig

  • Gently remove tangles by combing or brushing your wig.
  • Using warm water, hold the wig and let water run in the direction of the hair.
  • Place a capful of shampoo in the palm of your hand and pat it on the wig in the direction of the hair.
  • Comb through shampoo with a wide-tooth comb.
  • If the hair lathers, rinse with warm water; otherwise repeat shampoo
  • Place a generous capful of conditioner in the palm of your hand and pat in on the wig in the direction of the hair.
  • Comb through conditioner with a large wide tooth comb.
  • Rinse with warm water in the direction of the hair.
  • Wrap in a towel and blot dry.
  • Spray leave-in conditioning mist.
  • Put wig on and style.
  • To air dry, place wig on wig stand. Leave it overnight. Drying time depends on the length and thickness of your wig.
  • After wig has dried, brush, style and go.
